THE VICTORY CAUCUS

There are some people who believe, and desire, that the American
military will succeed in its efforts to stabilize Iraq and squelch the terrorist scurge with a SURGE. They believe that General David Petraeus, recently confirmed UNANIMOUSLY by the Senate as commander of the forces in Iraq, is not a stupid man, and is perfectly capable of doing what he said needed to be done at the time of his confirmation hearings.

They believe that elected representatives, especially Republicans, should be informed that their weak-kneed,
politically motivated rush to cross the aisle and support a pointless and hypocritical non-binding resolution, against the very strategy Petraeus was appointed to carry out, is being duly noted by the voting public, and that they will be held accountable.

I just joined these people. I invite others to do likewise. The Victory Caucus.
